Ever since you were a small child, there were things you were not meant to see. HBO late night television, a car crash, your eccentric cousin, your parents when they were sad, etc. So there were blinders created so that you only saw what you were supposed to see. Now, what if you can’t see if your partner is sad? What if you can’t see danger ahead? What if you can’t see your potential for something bigger than you ever dreamed? What if you can't see yourself? As an adult, knowing how to provide safety for yourself, you might not need all that protection - created by yourself or others. What would you get to have in your life if you choose to simply see? Would you see your partner in all their humanity? Would you skillfully avoid obstacles but see the range of life choices? Would you realize you are capable of so much more than you ever dreamed possible? Would you see you see yourself in the full range of your expression? Would you trust yourself? Choosing to see can be profound. Mostly, in what you get to have and experience in your life. There are so many reasons you can come up with not to see. But there may be so many more reasons to see, if you choose too.
